If there is one job that I am pretty sure everyone wants is something where they can set there own hours and be their own boss. Why work for someone else when you can be the one in charge. The problem with that is there aren’t many things out there with security. I have been doing some djing to keep myself busy and bring in some extra income. I have a couple of Technics turntables and some jbl speakers hooked up to my mac and I do okay. It’s just not enough to pay all the bills yet.

It looks like it is going to be hot dogs again for lunch. It seems I have stuck myself in this never ending cycle of lunches that continue to repeat over and over again. The problem is that I live a little bit outside of town and it is quite a drive to get some real food and I am just not willing to do that for a simple lunch. Alas I am stuck with the McDonalds down the road or a rotation of hot dogs, grilled cheese sandwiches, quesadillas or soup every day. Today is hot dog day, lucky me.

I have recently been looking for a new job. The problem is that there is not a lot of options out there right now in the job market. I have some experience with print shop management but print shops aren’t exactly booming with business at the moment. Mix that with a limited eduction and very specific set of trade skills and things are really tough.

With my recent computer problems on the old Dell, I need to buy a new computer. Now I already have a Inspiron E1705 that treats me okay, but I have always wanted to do the switch to MAC. So I figure that this is probably the best opportunity. After all the biggest reason for my hesitation was due to the fact that it would cost so much money and I already had three working computers. Well, now I am down to two and one is running pretty slow. So I guess, it is the sign that I have been waiting for.

A buddy of mine just got his first job. He is working part time at a warehouse dealing with all kinds of metal parts. His new department deals with clamping handles. I am not really sure what those are but he loves his job so it must be something good. If you love your job I can guarantee you will have a happy life.

Learning a different language has to be one of the hardest things to do in this world. I strongly believe the older you get the harder it is to learn the language you are wanting to learn. I am currently learning how to speak Spanish and it is a very tough language for me. I don’t know how people make it look so easy. I struggle with the basics. Hopefully it gets easier.

Today was just such a great day. I woke up bright and early to the smell of coffee that my wife had to wake up 30 minutes earlier then me just so when I woke up it would be ready. She’s such a great wife. I also then went to work and actually got a raise. Who would have thought? I haven’t ever received a raise before, but today I did. It has just been such a great day words can’t even describe. I am blessed.

Platform beds are becoming very popular lately. It is so weird. Things you would never have thought to become so popular and current are becoming just that. My friend down in Manhattan went online to platform beds nyc to purchase a platform bed as well. It is just crazy how old things or things you would not believe to become so popular are, and it amazes me. Things are changing.

Twitter is becoming more popular then Facebook now in my opinion. I see more people on twitter then I do on Facebook and it confuses me honestly. I personally love both. Both offer me a unique way to show what I am doing and who I am doing it with and I love it. Lately though, Twitter just seems to be booming. I now have more friends on Twitter then I do on Facebook which is very strange. Makes you wonder, why do people like Twitter so much more now?
