As this blog is about fashion as well as celebrities and such I have to throw in some fashion related news every now and then. So here is something that I just came across that is rather interesting, they are called Tateossian Bracelets and are becoming really popular right now. They are designed specifically for men and are typically available in a leather and silver finish. I think they have a real trendy look to them and they are not that expensive so the you may be seeing more and more them in the near future. I haven’t seen any celebs wearing them yet, but I am sure that they will soon. What do you think about this new style?

I just came across this website called Girl Mogul. It is filled with all sorts of girl empowerment products like clothing. To quote their website “GirlMogul is an attitude, a way of approaching life that says you can be and do what you dream. It defies convention and stereotyping and is inspiring and encouraging.” That is my daughter to a tee. She is so independent it is almost tough to deal with sometimes. It is in a good way though. I have made sure to raise her to be independent and not co-dependent on someone else to get her through life. It is this independence that makes her a GirlMogul.

My daughter especially likes the shirt that says “Future Marine Biologist” as she is absolutely positive that is what she is going to be. It is her fascination with Dolphins that has driven her to want this as a full time career. She absolutely loves all sorts of animals but there is just something about the horses and dolphins that really keep her attention. She is going to love this shirt and I know that she is going to wear it all the time. Check out the shirt below and tell me if you don’t think it is just the best ever.

Guess what is in right now? It’s more colored jeans. I personally don’t care for colored jeans but if you are, “awesome.” They are in stores right now and you can get them in red, turquoise-tinted and purple. O.K. you guys, lets all be honest with each other. Some people out there who are gonna go buy them right now are not going to be able to pull those off.

So if your a colorful person, go buy yourself a nice pair of colorful jeans!!!!

There are a lot of different fashion companies out there. There are more fashion companies now then I believe there have ever been in history. The thing is that there are several very high end designers out there that charge an arm and a leg for a simple skirt or blouse. The problem is that the average Suzy homemaker can not afford such elegant styles from one of these designers. They are more set aside for the very rich and famous and the rest of us just have to fend for ourselves. That is why there are so many other fashion companies out there that cater to Suzy and all of her friends. These companies design clothes that can not only be worn on a more regular basis but don’t cost a house payment for a pair of jeans.

Let me give you an example. I just came across a fashion company that has all sorts of designer style clothing. They have all sizes and styles from regular to junior clothing. IT is called Heavenly Couture and they basically search the US to find some of the best fashion deals and then post them online for us. That way we are able to get some very high end high class styles at up to 85% off of what most people pay. The best part is that everything on their website is $17.95 or less. Now that is what I call a fashion bargain.

Celebrities wear some of the coolest, biggest and most expensive bling on the planet. The question is how many people out there would wear that kind of stuff if they had the money? Personally if I had that much money I would probably wear a little bit of bling myself, maybe not a million dollar pennant but definitely something nice. What makes most of their stuff so expensive is that a lot of it is custom designed by high end jewelers. I came across an online jeweler today that does some custom work as well but is not nearly as expensive as the celebrity jewelers. The cool thing is that you get to design your own jewelry so your bling can be one of a kind. For instance I am a big fan of Texas Hold’em so I went to their poker jewelry section and laid out an incredible World Poker Tour custom necklace. They can make you all sorts of things like that. It might not be as nice as the stuff that the celebrities wear but it is definitely my own little class of bling.

Can you believe that Victoria Beckham actually got put on a worst dressed list???? Yep the girl did, in fact she and other celeb women we kinda look up to for their fashion. Mr. Blackwell the fashion critic, called Mrs. Beckham out for her “skinny-mini monstrosities” Thats a good one, LOL!!!! I wouldn’t call her the worst dressed, but at the same time not the best dressed either. Yes she totally dresses cool ALL THE TIME, but once in a great while it would be nice to see her in some tennis shoes or something don’t you think? So if you think she is the best dresser of all then cool, if not, cool! Like I said she is ONE of the best dressed celebs in my opinion. It just depends on your style really!
The next celeb considered on of the worst is Amy Winehouse, (which I SO agree with), Mary-Kate Olsen, Fergie, (I don’t agree with him, her style is cool) Kelly Clarkson, Eva Green, Avril Lavigne, (she has a unique kinda pop star look which is kinda cool too), Jessica Simpson, (totally don’t agree with his opinion on that one either), Lindsay Lohan, (I’m still out on that one) and Alison Arngrim. Nope Britney Spears didn’t make it this year. He basically said that he felt it inappropriate this year to do that to her.
He did however, explain “that my criticisms are based purely on their fashion flaws - I’m sure they’re all wonderful people beneath the deluge of dreck they drape themselves in.” He is so honest don’t you think?
You wanna know who the true fashionable celebrity women are??? I’ll tell you. Reese Witherspoon, (definitely agree with him she has a cute casual and sometimes elegant look, like a true mom) Jemima Khan, Beyonce, Angelina Jolie, (another one of my favorites Helen Mirren, Nicole Kidman, (Totally agree with him their, she is classy, gorgeous and beautiful), Katie Holmes, (yes again, another of my favorites. But she has more of a European type style which I love), Kate Middleton, Katherine Heigl, (Yes again for me), and Cate Blanchett, (she reminds me of Katherine Hepburn type style, its a nice compliment for her).

So there you all have it, Victoria Beckham on a WORST DRESSED list!!!!!

O.K. H&M fans get ready for this. Rihanna is set to join with the trendy teenageish 15 to 24 year old launch of t-shirts hoodies and tanks. Some of the slogans or phrases are “Believe” and “Stop”. You might be asking yourself, “how much?” Well I can tell you that. The price ranges from $12 to $34. Oh and 25% of that will go to HIV/AIDS projects around the world. Really neat idea!

So, if you are a H&M and Rihanna fan, get ready to go buy one of those clothing items in February, cause I’m pretty sure there gonna go fast.

I just heard that there is a new Fashion Rating community out there that is currently in beta testing so I thought I would share about it. So if you are an aspiring designer, fashionista, or just think you have style, you can register now as one of their 5000 beta testers. This is a whole new thing and I think it will really catch on. First she cuts it really short, now she put on new locks. I guess she realized that her short hair wasn’t getting her the publicity that she was really looking for? I don’t know but to be honest I think she looks better with shorter hair. I don’t care for what she did with her hair now, but hey its her life!

I just came across this company that sells tons of natural skincare products. It is called Skin Dimensions and is a branch of Skin Dimensions Day Spa. They actually specialize in skincare and beauty products usually found in doctors’ offices, spas, and high-end department stores. I don’t know about you but as for me, when it comes to skincare products I am very careful and very particular. So if there is a doctor recommended product out there I tend to lean more towards it than the standard stuff that you can find at a local low end shopping center. Call me crazy but although looks aren’t everything they are very important.
