If you are into fashion and shoes than you have got to check out this site that I just came across. It has a ton of different shoes to choose from and they are actually reasonably priced. Okay, wait I guess that is more of a relative statement as what may be reasonable to some may not be reasonable to others. The point though is that they have a great variety of shoes available and they even have some cool options for gift ideas. This works out perfect for me as I am currently searching for the perfect Mother’s Day present and birthday present. My mom’s birthday actually coincides with Mother’s Day this year so I am lucky enough to have to find two presents.

I have really been looking at a couple of different designers and styles that they have available right now as I want to make sure each pair is very different. So right now I am looking at some seychelles shoes and maybe a pair of minnetonka boots. I don’t know exactly which I am going to get yet but I am sure that I will figure it out in plenty of time to get them here before her birthday. I also found a pair of tsubo shoes that are cute too, so I guess I just have to decide and get the ordered.

According to OK! magazine, Katie Holmes is gonna be teaming up with Armani and will have her own clothing line!!!

They say that she will start her clothing line with children’s apparel. Starting with toddlers in the year 2009, next would be older children in the fall and ending with handbag lines for women by 2010. She will be selling her line only in stores like Barneys New York, Neiman Marcus and Saks. They are calling it “very upscale” but less than Armani Prive and more than Armani Exchange (if any of that makes sense to you). The source even made a kinda rude remark putting Jessica Simpson’s clothing line down calling it “cheesy stuff”. Thats just wrong!!!

I wouldn’t say that this is 100% in the making cause the reps for Armani are saying “this is a rumor–we have no comment to make.” I bet it leaked out and we weren’t supposed to find out yet and now it won’t be as big of a surprise. What do you think????

After 45 wonderful years, Valentino is saying goodbye! He is retiring or let me say retired.

His gowns were always beautiful, I loved how he made women look so sexy and gorgeous at the same time. They where dresses that complement a womens body with a nice feminine style.

He dressed many many models and actress, including former First Lady Jackie Kennedy. He did sale his company back in 98 because he said that he wanted the Valentino name to continue even after him. I do believe that will obviously happen. Who won’t remember that name???

He will be missed and his legend will live forever!!!

Here we go, the winner for one of my favorite t.v. shows is, (why you ask, well hello its all about fashion and I just love Heidi Klum, thats why), Christian Siriano. Yep thats right people, he won it!!! Congrats to you dude. I mean he said it in the first place, “Hello, did you have a doubt?” He is the youngest ever to win Project Runway. He is 22

We all knew that he was gonna win, don’t try and lie about it, he deserved it, but just becuase you think you do doesn’t mean your gonna and he said, “I was scared! I thought I should win I thought I deserved to win, but I really didn’t know. Rami & Jillian were so good.” and its true they were.

Jillian by the way has her own clothing line now. Its called Jillian Lewis Inc. and is meeting with potential buyers. Rami is also doing pretty well himself. He of all people has Heidi Klum as one of his clothing interests. According to Rami, “She already pulled some of my clothes for fittings, so thats great. Anybody would want to dress Heidi!” I say very true, what clothing designer doesn’t want Heidi Klum wearing their clothes?

There is a new shoe that is out and they are selling like crazy to celebs such as Victoria Beckham, Uma Thurman and Gwyneth Paltrow. They are 5 1/2 inch heel-less shoe that you can get in black patent leather or in snakeskin. The cost, not too much really, $3,600!!! Yep $3,600

It was created by a British designer named Antonio Berardi. He has them available for his spring collection and they are on sale all over the world, and ladies you can even get your pair here in the U.S.

If you haven’t read the article of Eva Longoria and her closet in the latest issue of Instyle, you’ve gotta read this.

You know you have money when in your closet you have 200, repeat, 200 pairs of shoes. Why you ask, cause you just feel like spening money on shoes. Now let me say, I love shoes but I don’t have 200. What in the world are you gonna do with all those shoes. That is like wearing one pair everyday or so. I can’t count the math right now I’m too tired!!! LOL! She said that she did keep a couple of pairs for sentimental reasons, like the pair of Uggs she bought with her first paycheck from ebay.

Not only does she have 200 pairs of shoes, she has a lot of clutches as well. Eva Longoria is quoted as saying, “I love my clutches. I have so many, but I still can’t seem to find the right one sometimes”. I sure do wish I had that problem. Eva also has 50 pairs of jeans which let me say is all in L.A. she has more jeans at her home in Texas.

So maybe, just maybe we will all run into that problem just like Eva Longoria. You know the kind of problem where you just don’t know what clutch to use or what pair of your 200 shoes you should wear with one of your 50 pairs of jeans. You know, things like that!!!

As this blog is about fashion as well as celebrities and such I have to throw in some fashion related news every now and then. So here is something that I just came across that is rather interesting, they are called Tateossian Bracelets and are becoming really popular right now. They are designed specifically for men and are typically available in a leather and silver finish. I think they have a real trendy look to them and they are not that expensive so the you may be seeing more and more them in the near future. I haven’t seen any celebs wearing them yet, but I am sure that they will soon. What do you think about this new style?

I just came across this website called Girl Mogul. It is filled with all sorts of girl empowerment products like clothing. To quote their website “GirlMogul is an attitude, a way of approaching life that says you can be and do what you dream. It defies convention and stereotyping and is inspiring and encouraging.” That is my daughter to a tee. She is so independent it is almost tough to deal with sometimes. It is in a good way though. I have made sure to raise her to be independent and not co-dependent on someone else to get her through life. It is this independence that makes her a GirlMogul.

My daughter especially likes the shirt that says “Future Marine Biologist” as she is absolutely positive that is what she is going to be. It is her fascination with Dolphins that has driven her to want this as a full time career. She absolutely loves all sorts of animals but there is just something about the horses and dolphins that really keep her attention. She is going to love this shirt and I know that she is going to wear it all the time. Check out the shirt below and tell me if you don’t think it is just the best ever.

Guess what is in right now? It’s more colored jeans. I personally don’t care for colored jeans but if you are, “awesome.” They are in stores right now and you can get them in red, turquoise-tinted and purple. O.K. you guys, lets all be honest with each other. Some people out there who are gonna go buy them right now are not going to be able to pull those off.

There are a lot of different fashion companies out there. There are more fashion companies now then I believe there have ever been in history. The thing is that there are several very high end designers out there that charge an arm and a leg for a simple skirt or blouse. The problem is that the average Suzy homemaker can not afford such elegant styles from one of these designers. They are more set aside for the very rich and famous and the rest of us just have to fend for ourselves. That is why there are so many other fashion companies out there that cater to Suzy and all of her friends. These companies design clothes that can not only be worn on a more regular basis but don’t cost a house payment for a pair of jeans.

Let me give you an example. I just came across a fashion company that has all sorts of designer style clothing. They have all sizes and styles from regular to junior clothing.
