This is just a post from one parent to another. I have just come across this podcast series about proper nutrition for children. Well not just children but older children. Most people know to make sure your kids eat healthy when they are little. It is when they get older that most parents let their kids slip up and start eating more and more junk food. If you have a child in Jr. High or High School check out these podcasts I think you will find them very informative and helpful.

I was recently down in Orlando car shopping. I live in N. Florida and they have better deals down there so I took the drive. I was looking at the new Mazda’s simply cause I like the body design and need something with better gas mileage. So I did a search on orlando mazda 6 and found a dealership and went that way. Anyway when I was there I saw this very large man walking around. Now he might not have been but I am almost convinced that it was Dwight Howard, the center for the Orlando Magic basketball team. The guy is 6’11″ but he sure looked about 9′ tall to me. Seems that Michael Phelps has picked up his 5th gold of the 2008 Olympic games. With only three events to go he is well on his way to setting the new record of getting 8 medals in a single Olympic Games. He has already set the record for the most total gold medals won by a single person. It is insane to watch, if you haven’t been watching turn the tv on and check him out. This is history in the making.

Lots if new shows coming out in the upcoming television season but this one is completely new to me. And I am hoping that it is not one of them. It is called Meet the sproutwells and although I have watched this video I am not sure the point of the whole thing. Tell you what though if I had to be a vegetable I am not sure that lettuce would be my first choice. Oh well, check it out and see if you can give me any insight on it at all. Hopefully someone can understand what is going on here.

Talk about your Horsing Around. This new ad I just came across features Zara Phillips, the first Royal in direct line to the throne to appear in an advertisement. She is now the face of Land Rover and what a pretty face it is.If you love the royal family and are a big fan of horses you will like this ad. Spoiler alert, the horse talks.

I made some really bad decisions. Well, okay so that is not that big of a deal as we all make really bad decisions at least once in our life. Course for me it is more like once in a week it seems. The thing is that when we sold our last house I was the dummy who was in an immediate rush to run out and buy another one as soon as possible. I had made a killing on our last house. I bought when the market was just starting to boom and then sold when it was at its peak. Of course at the time I thought the market was only going to get better so I went out and reinvested that money back into more real estate. The market dropped and here I am sitting on a bunch of land that is not worth half of what I paid for it. Now I am in need of some serious Debt consolidation to try and get things back to the way they were. I have looked into Debt relief and Debt help from several different places and have found some things that I think can get me through.

The whole thing though makes me think what about the people with the real money. I mean the celebrities out there who have bought 20 million dollar homes, where are they sitting right now. Where I may have been a hundred thousand or so buried how many millions have they lost in this whole market drop. Guess we all lose when the economy goes down, even the rich and famous.

Has anyone out there actually seen some of these celebrity homes. I mean I am really into celebrity homes. I guess it is because I love expensive things. Call me crazy but the fact of the matter is that these people have some of the nicest homes that I have ever seen. I saw one of those celebrity house tours the other day and this place was magnificent, it was so beautiful I didn’t even pay attention who the house belonged to. It had everything from the marble columns to the heart pine wood floors and granite everywhere. Absolutely amazing what can be built with a whole lot of money.

I have seen more and more celebs lately really out and about working out and showing off some sports interests. I have seen everything from bicycling to basketball to skating. Personally I love skating so now I feel like I have something in common for a change. I mean I just bought a nice new pair of K2 inline skates and I love them. I think that everyone should get out there and skate away, it is great exercise and great fun.

I mean I know that celebrities have all the money and all but sometimes it just sucks when you work your butt off to barely be able to afford anything beyond rent and the celebrities are out there flaunting the best toys. Sometimes I think some toys are made just for them. I mean lets be honest not many people can actually afford the kind of stuff that they buy. That is why I like the celebs that keep it real. People like the flying tomato who go out and there and compete in the Olympics using a nice but not too expensive set of Burton snowboards. That is too cool if you ask me, showing not only can you afford my gear but you can learn to be just like me someday.

There are celeb babies popping up left and right. I mean every where I look someone else is having a baby. If they are not actually having a baby, they are going to other countries and adopting babies. Now if you are having a baby then you probably want to try and keep up on the baby trends and fashions and what better place to do that than on a celebrity fashion and trends blog like this one.
