This is just a post from one parent to another. I have just come across this podcast series about proper nutrition for children. Well not just children but older children. Most people know to make sure your kids eat healthy when they are little. It is when they get older that most parents let their kids slip up and start eating more and more junk food. If you have a child in Jr. High or High School check out these podcasts I think you will find them very informative and helpful.

I wonder if its their way of hinting to us and to Paula Abdoul, that Kara DioGuardi is gonna be taking Paula Abdoul’s place next season. I know that the producers had mentioned they were adding her to bring in more “girl power” for Paula, and that they have tried it in other countries and its been a success, but don’t be surprised if Paula quits or gets “axed” soon after Kara starts.

The shows will begin in January so get ready, cause this will be interesting! Will Paula be jealous?? Will there be any cat fights??? I can’t wait to find out

I was recently down in Orlando car shopping. I live in N. Florida and they have better deals down there so I took the drive. I was looking at the new Mazda’s simply cause I like the body design and need something with better gas mileage. So I did a search on orlando mazda 6 and found a dealership and went that way. Anyway when I was there I saw this very large man walking around. Now he might not have been but I am almost convinced that it was Dwight Howard, the center for the Orlando Magic basketball team. The guy is 6′11″ but he sure looked about 9′ tall to me. I hate hearing sad news, especially when it comes to my family or the families of celebrities.

Dr. Dre, best known for his hip hop music and a mogul a lot of us would say, is mourning the death of his 20 year old son, Andre Young Jr., who was found “unresponsive” by his mother on Saturday.

The cause of death right now is not known but when I find out more information I will let you all know. His mother tried rousing him around 10:24 a.m. and when he wouldn’t respond she called 911.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Dre and his family.

As I talked about in my last post one of the spice girls, Melanie Chisholm is pregnant. Wow that is some big news, I know. Especially with the spice girls recently making a real come back with their new tour that have going on. I am not sure what her exact plans are yet but I am sure that she will need some time off to get h=life in order. The thing is that I was just thinking what on earth is this girl going to be wearing over the next few months. You see in the average pregnancy we are all forced to cover ourselves with our man’s sweats, our old christmas sweaters or any potato sack looking piece of material we can find. But a celebrity pregnancy is something completely different. Celebrities have to keep up on style and trends no matter if they are pregnant or not. So I can’t wait until the next awards show to see exactly what she goes walking down the red carpet in. I am imagining that it will be something like this picture below. I mean after all maternity clothes can be fun too if you can find the right style to match your personality.

After being with her beau for 6 years they have finally decided to start a family. She let everybody know the news on her website. Although, I have no clue on when she is due.

Melanie Chisholm is the only one of the Spice Girls who doesn’t have children. Now she can join in and share all the little secrets and stories of being a mommy.

I guess Donald Trump didn’t buy Ed McMahons house after all.

News broke out a couple weeks ago or so, I have no clue when, that Donald Trump was gonna buy Ed McMahons house and then lease it back to him. Well, according to his rep, he did in deed sale his house but not to “The Donald”.

So, whoever bought it must be really happy, and Ed McMahon must be even more happy that he had sold it as well. I’m sure not too happy cause of his circumstances, but you know what I mean.

Its a baby girl for My Name Is Earl star, Jason Lee and his girlfriend Ceren Alkac.

This newest addition to his family, let me remind you that he has a 4 year old son named Pilot from a preivous relationshiop, was born on August 10th.

I don’t know the little ones name or weight, but hopefully he will tell us all the exciting news about her.

So I just wanna tell you that I have no other information other than Ricky Martin, sometime in the last couple of weeks had twin baby boys who were born through a surrogate.

Yes, thats right. Ricky Martin is a daddy. He is a single 36 year old daddy of two twin boys. The baby boys names haven’t been released nor has the info on the woman who delivered them or the location where they were born.

Talk about keeping secrets, this was a really good one. Ricky Martin won’t be out in the public anytime soon cause he is taking time off to be with his boy.

Congrats to Ricky Martin on becoming a daddy!!! He is gonna need it, especially being a single father of TWO newborns.

I was talking to someone earlier today and they were telling me about some actor they liked named Amos Tamam. Now I am typically pretty up to date on the latest and greatest actors but I have never heard of this guy. Is it me, I mean am I the only one. Does anyone out there know who he is or what he has played in?
