You know its actually a really cool thing to hear that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are getting married! They are really cute together, they truly are.
It was announced by them personally on the website friendsorenemies.com and this is what she had to say:
“We know there has been a lot of speculation recently about Pete and I, and we wanted our fans to know, because you guys are the best, Yes, we are thrilled to share that we are happily engaged. Thank you for all of your support and well wishes - it means the world to us. We consider this to be a very private matter, and we wanted to be the first to tell you and to hear it straight from us.”
If your wondering if “daddy” is o.k. with this, he actually is. He told PEOPLE that he’s “totally happy” and “so excited to have Pete as part of (our) family.” I wonder if he was ever truly like that with Jessica Simpson’s ex Nick Lachey???? Did daddy Joe really like him or was he just being nice for his daughter’s sake? I’m sure we will never know, but right now the focus is on little sis Ashlee.
