Okay, so I was recently asked by a friend who has not been on vacation is quite some time what my suggestions where for some really cool family vacation ideas. Well this was more than easy for me as I am a Florida resident and this is one of the biggest vacation capitals of the world. We have more vacation cities than any other state could dream about having. SO I started by telling her that she should bring the family and come and visit me, here in St Augustine. It is the oldest city in the United States and there are just tons of things to do in St Augustine. Founded by Ponce De Leon this city is just jam packed with history and some amazing sites. There is even the ruins of one of the original castles built on the beach of old St Augustine to defend the coast from back in the day.

On top of that we have Orlando home of 52 theme parks, Miami where bathing suits are optional and don’t forget Key West. One of the most amazing places in Florida. I have got to say that I have been a lot of place but there is nothing I enjoy more than Key West Snorkeling. The underwater life there is insane.
