There are just way too many celebrities checking themselves into mental institutions and rehab programs. I am talking about everything from drug abuse programs to alcohol rehab to mental rehab places. It is happening left and right. I mean, don’t get me wrong, it is a good thing in the aspect that at least they recognize that they have a problem and need help in resolving it. The thing is that when you have that much money and fame and basically everything you could ever want, how do you allow yourself to become co-dependent on something so worthless? I can’t understand how someone could make $20 million in one year and then check themselves into a mental ward for stress and exhaustion. You work less than 20 hours per week and make more than anyone else and you are stressed and tired. This is getting ridiculous.

You might laugh at me once you hear this but, I used to watch the t.v. show Designing Women. I loved it, it was a great show. Women with southern charm and spunk!! You remember that show don’t you? Well one of the stars from that show was Delta Burke. We all know who she is. Well ET confirmed that she in fact is in an undisclosed mental health clinic receiving treatment.

If you wondering why, I can tell you what I know, which is that she is being treated for depression, diabetes and other health problems. Did you know that she does this often? I sure dont recall her doing that but hey, who cares!!!!

I wonder how long she will be there for? We will see.

It is winter and I love it. Unfortunately I live in Florida so when i want to experience the snow I have to fly off somewhere for a mini vacation. I am actually thinking about taking my family to Mt. Hood in Oregon this year. I hear that place is absolutely beautiful and there are even some celebrities that frequent the slopes there. It is now only a place where you go to ski and hangout but you can actually train with some of America’s top ski educators, and really become great at skiing. I am talking about great instructors, incredible breathtaking views and the chance for an occasional celebrity sighting. It doesn’t get any better than that right there.
