The death of our most beloved actor Heath Ledger was an accidental mixture of prescriptions drugs. New York City’s Chief Medical Examiner has concluded that it was also an accident. He died of acute intoxication by combined effects of, (and let me tell you there is a lot) Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Diazepam, Tmeazepam, Alprazolam and Doxylamine.
Basically, he accidentally put into his body medications that didn’t work together that caused his body to slowly stop working. As told by the medical examiner, “we have concluded that the manner of death is accident, resulting from the abuse of prescription medications.”
Heath was using a painkiller, vicodin anxiety /sleeplessness pills and sedating antihistamines for sleeping. I just wonder why he felt he had to take so many and why the doctors gave him all of them knowing it would be possible for an overdose.
I hope that the family is doing better knowing that he didn’t die on purpose but rather accidental. I feel better knowing that he accidentally died and didn’t commit suicide.
